I look over at the alarm clock. It reads 5:20 a.m. In a split second, it starts. I call it a thought worm and it looks something like this: What day is it? What absolutely positively has to get done today or bad things will happen? And then it starts — the list. I go from blissful sleep to “too much to do and not enough time” in less than 60 seconds.
