This cartoon is actually a reject from a recent custom cartoon client. They wanted a bunch of ideas for those off-site interviews that are so popular these days, but this one wasn’t their cup of tea.
For whatever reason, an image of those ball pits you see at kiddie pizza joints popped into my head and just would not leave, so this cartoon came out.
I can’t really explain what it is about this that makes me laugh, but it just does. And all those balls were fun to draw too. In the end, I’m glad it was rejected.
